Wildlands Welcomes New Board Members

Around the time we switched our calendars to the new year, Wildlands Conservancy welcomed four new board members: Paul Barbehenn, Deborah Kipp, Robert Stover, and Susan Williams.

Paul Barbehenn

Current Senior Wealth Advisor with Mercer Advisors, founding partner of Andesa Financial Management

Paul will be leveraging his expertise and experience building teams and organizations, previous board services, and professional experience in finances and budget while serving on the Wildlands Conservancy board. He says, “My wife and I consider it a privilege to give back to our local community and believe strongly in environmental stewardship, so joining the Board seems like a natural fit.”

Deborah Kipp

Retired from Muhlenburg College, Associate Vice President of Advancement

Deborah’s lifelong career is rich in highly successful, strategic fundraising and donor stewardship. She shares in our passion for championing land preservation to ensure future generations can enjoy open space through our local trails, saying, “For me, it is exciting to be a part of this energy and outcome.” She and her family have lived in the Lehigh Valley for 50 years, where she has been an avid volunteer.

Robert Stover

Executive Director of Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley, President of Secure Healthcare Information Management

For the majority of Bob’s professional career, he has been involved with strategic planning and carries that skill set into his tenure on the Wildlands board. His passion for planning for the future helps ensure the organization forwards the mission of protecting land and critical open spaces and making lasting connections to nature. It’s part of his “Why?” for getting involved with Wildlands, since he himself said, “The outdoors has always been part of my life. I believe Wildlands Conservancy will allow future generations to enjoy nature in all its glory.”

Susan Williams

Previously operated Susan Williams & Associates LLC and directed public affairs with Crayola LLC

Susan is rejoining our board to contribute her talent in communications and public relations, supported by business strategy and development. Her passion lies in higher education, public education, the environment, and the arts. Talking about the land protection and stewardship initiatives she’s seen in Blue Mountain, Allentown, and the Lehigh River, Susan says, “Today, Wildlands is carrying that mission to all of eastern Pennsylvania. It is quite a challenging mission that has to be done.” She and her family currently reside in the Lehigh Valley where she enjoys fine art and volunteering.
