Giving Through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program

The EITC program of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) is one more way that businesses can vitally support Wildlands’ environmental education focus.

Receive a Tax Credit
Eligible businesses can receive a tax credit equal to 75-90% of their contribution. To gain the maximum, businesses must provide a written commitment to donate the same amount for two consecutive years.

Eligibility & Application
To learn if your business is eligible and begin the application process, visit the PA Department of Community & Economic Development.

How Your EITC Contribution Will Help
A tomorrow for conservation is only as secure as the minds we educate to foster it. Your EITC giving will directly support in-school programs and field experiences, including:

  • Lessons on animal adaptations
  • Lessons on non-point source pollution
  • Bike & Boat Adventures
  • Habitat hikes
  • Introduction to insects
  • Macros and microscopes
  • Macroinvertebrate water-health study
  • Naturalist-building program
