Virtual School Programs

Even online, imaginations can soar! Wildlands is proud to have developed several virtual school program options to allow students in diverse school settings to be inspired and challenged by nature-based education concepts.

Pricing and Group Sizes

Virtual program offerings can be delivered to groups of all sizes, from a handful of students to more than 200. Pricing begins at $100 (30-minutes for up to 30 students):


Program Options

Grades K-12- Wildlife of the Watershed

30 minutes: Meet some of our animal ambassadors and learn about their place and role within the Lehigh River Watershed.

Grades K-5- Winter Habitats

30-45 minutes: Explore our wildlife sanctuary to discover all of the habitats there and meet some of the animals living there and how animals adapt to these colder months.

Grades K-2- Bugs

30 minutes, Meet our hissing cockroaches, learn how pollinators make our lives better, and go on a bug hike!

Grades 3-5- Watershed Warrior

30-45 minutes: What’s your watershed? Dive into this wet world to discover the animals that live here, ecology, impact of our decisions, and ways you can help!

Grades 6-8- Climate Change

30-45 minutes: What is your personal relationship with climate change? Starting with a broad, world-view, and then examining climate change at a local level, discover how climate change is more personally relevant than you may think. Learn how small lifestyle changes lead to big environmental impacts in this powerful look at how your peers are changing the world.

Grades 6-12- Crepuscular Investigations

30-45 minutes: Owls, skunks, and opossums! Meet some of our nocturnal animals before venturing out to search the night sky. Learn how to use a telescope and binoculars, how to find constellations, and how to find the North star from the Big Dipper. How can you tell the difference between a planet, a star, and a satellite? We’ll share when to watch the best meteor showers and what you can do to clean up light pollution so that we can better see the night sky.
