Girl and Boy Scouts in grades K-3:
Who's in the Woods
Meet some of our hawks, snakes, and other critters, and learn how they camouflage themselves in our forests. Then join us on a virtual hike to look for wildlife in their native habitats, and learn different types of trail markers that help you find your way. We’ll end with a fun, interactive game! This one hour long, virtual program is $7/Scout.
Girl and Boy Scouts in grades 6-8:
Nighttime Exploration Owls, skunks, and opossums! Meet these or some of our other nocturnal animals before venturing out to search the night sky. Learn how to use a telescope and binoculars, how to find constellations, and how to find the North star from the Big Dipper. How can you tell the difference between a planet, a star, and a satellite? We’ll share when to watch the best meteor showers and what you can do to clean up light pollution so that we can better see the night sky. This one hour long, virtual program is $7/Scout.
