Scott J. Cope

Vice President of Education

Scott Cope came to Wildlands in 2007 and today oversees the organization’s education programming, including K-12 outreach, community programs, summer camp and offerings for scouts. His professional experience includes working for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and serving as bureau chief of recreation for Whitehall Township, which notably involved the development of the Ironton Rail Trail. Scott is active on several local boards and statewide committees, and is a certified parks and recreation professional. An avid sportsman and admitted shutterbug, Scott is happily married for more than 30 years and has two adult sons and a daughter-in-law.
