For over a decade, Wildlands Conservancy and Lehigh County have enjoyed a partnership aimed at stewarding the health and recreation of the County’s 1,108- acre Trexler Nature Preserve. Recent efforts addressed invasive Autumn Olive, reintroduced the American Chestnut tree and just this year, enhanced  22 kiosks distributed throughout the preserve.

The wooden kiosks, constructed and donated by a local Boy Scout Troop, feature information on about the preserve’s history and stewardship projects, recreational opportunities and support visitor wayfinding. Installed in February of this year, the signs support larger efforts to implement a master site plan and connect more people with outdoor recreation.
