Wildlands Conservancy’s Nature Co-op programs are supplemental field-based environmental science experiences for homeschool students in grades K-5. All programs include an experience with our Animal Ambassadors. Emphasis is placed on answering a question in a fun, hands-on way that leads to a means to create positive change in our environment.

This week: What can we do to prevent disruption of food webs in our nature space? Focus on the climax of plant lifecycles in a northern temperate forest. Includes: microscope examination of plant anatomy and strategies that plant species utilize to survive winter/ plant and seed dissection/demonstration of food webs including producers, consumers and decomposers.
