Wildlands Conservancy’s Nature Co-op programs are supplemental field-based environmental science experiences for homeschool students in grades K-5. All programs include an experience with our Animal Ambassadors. Emphasis is placed on answering a question in a fun, hands-on way that leads to a means to create positive change in our environment.

This week: What can a single person do to create positive environmental change?

An introduction to a session of our Ecowarriors after school program series focused on how the power of an individual can effect positive environmental change. Includes: examination of positive human impact strategies at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary/Switchback Trail hike/ exploration inside the exclusion fence/ effect of a riparian buffer on stream health/ how to compost/ what you can do to help create positive environmental change.
