The Karl Stirner Arts Trail is 2.5 miles long, beginning at the old Simon Silk Mill on 13th Street to 3rd Street at the base of Lafayette College in Easton. From there, the trail leads to Easton’s Center Square and its famous Saturday Farmers’ Market, although we won’t go that far. Instead, walk from 13th Street to Pearl Street and return on the same path. It will be slightly up hill on the return.

The smooth, wide, asphalt-covered trail is stroller- and wheelchair- friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome. There is even a nice dog park on the trail. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Bring binoculars/camera to view the historic buildings and signs of beaver along the babbling Bushkill Creek.

No bathrooms available on the trail. After the hike you can warm up at Tucker Silkmill, an Aussie café, and enjoy soups, salads, sandwiches, and comradeship with your fellow walkers.
