Wild Eggs – April 8

Wild Eggs is back and packed with family fun! We’ve added lots of novel and innovative activities to our non-traditional, non-competitive family experience! Crack open an egg for a chance at a free week of summer camp. Visitors will explore Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, our 77.5-acre headquarters, which offers a wide variety of wildlife viewing opportunities. Visitors can enjoy walking the trails along the Little Lehigh Creek, through the deciduous and coniferous forest and open meadows.

  • Bunny Book Nook – featuring live rabbits, bunny bookmark craft and story time with our friends from Let’s Play Books
  • Fun family games – penguin egg walk and more
  • Outdoor Egg Hunt – hunt for wooden eggs in our Tree I.D. Grove
  • Wild Egg Decorating- decorate your own wooden egg! Craft materials provided
  • Live Animal Egg Hunt- our education animals will have an egg hunt of their own
  • Decorate your very own spring-themed cookie with the help of the wonderful folks from Threadbare Momma
  • Nature-themed crafts
  • Each child leaves with an age-appropriate goodies bag
  • & much more!

Pre-registration is required. The morning session begins at 10 am and the afternoon session begins at 1 pm.

While leashed pets are normally allowed at Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, pets other than service animals with documentation will not be allowed on-site during this event.
