Preserve Enhancements at Maple Tract

Volunteers work together to carry an elevated foot path at Maple Tract.

YOU really can make conservation happen! Volunteer to help improve our trail network at our Pocono-based Maple Tract Preserve.  Your efforts will directly enhance the accessibility of this rugged, natural space. Be prepared for work that is both physically demanding and highly rewarding!

When:

Saturday, September 9th, 9 am – 4 pm

Stay for a few hours, or the whole day! 

Where:

Maple Tract Preserve in Blakeslee. We will meet at 9 am at Wawa, 296, PA-940, Blakeslee, PA 18610, and caravan to our work site.

What:

The day’s work will include cutting new trails, installing elevated foot paths and installing trail markers. Tools, gloves and safety glasses will be provided. Please feel free to bring any other gear or tools you’d like to have with you. Water & lunch will be provided.
