Community Gateway Gardens
In cooperation with Pa. Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), the Conservancy is working with ten communities to facilitate, design, and supervise installation of Community Gateway Gardens. Each garden is located at a prominent 'gateway' to the community, involves local residents, and boasts native plants. The gateway garden affords residents and visitors alike opportunities to view native plants in all seasons. The use of native plants not only adds beauty to a garden, but is also an environmentally sound practice.
