Enjoy the tapestry of budding twigs and spring flowers as we walk through beautiful Trexler Memorial Park.  We’ll enjoy the 16-foot wide paved trails that also accommodate joggers and bicyclists. These trails are very stroller and wheelchair friendly. Harry Clay Trexler’s estate gave this land to the City of Allentown. The Trexler’s summer home, Springwood Park, was located on the property. This 134-acre park has about 3 miles of trails for you to explore. This hike is appropriate for children of all ages. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dogs on leash are welcome. Bring your binoculars/camera to watch the ducks and other birds, plus to capture the emerging spring plants. Bathrooms are available in the park.
