Enjoy the award-winning Hoover-Mason Trestle and its views of South Bethlehem and the iconic cemetery made famous by photographer Walker Evans. Also, you can get up close views of colorful rust on the blast furnaces. We’ll start on the Hoover-Mason Trestle, an elevated walkway with over 10 urban gardens and then cross the street to the South Bethlehem Greenway. The Greenway is a linear park that follows a former Norfolk Southern rail line through the southern neighborhoods of Bethlehem PA. The walk is appropriate for children of all ages. You may want to only explore the quarter-mile Trestle. Or you can hike all the way to Saucon Park, 4.4 miles round trip.
