2014: Gifting Us with Possibilities

Thank you for making local conservation happen!

When you support our mission, you forever forward us to be as responsive as  possible to the Lehigh Valley’s conservation and education needs.

Whether it’s a landowner with a shared passion or an underserved area in need of nature nearby, your share of treasure positions us to say, “Yes!”

As we look to a new year, we’re excited to involve you ever more. And we look forward to the continued fulfillment of these conservation projects and many others:

  • Expanding our South Mountain Preserve to protect this unique natural habitat and enhance community access to outdoor recreation
  • Leading a consortium of 14 conservation organizations in an unprecedented effort to protect the Lehigh River watershed through the permanent protection of thousands of acres of the highest-priority forests and wetlands
  • Delivering nature-based education to first-graders in 14 priority schools identified by United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. Our “Wild About Learning” program combines hands-on discovery, experiences with wildlife education animals and nature-themed books to improve reading skills.
